Sillon sets a dark bronze dome over a tapered travertine base. A slim metal stem runs through a channel cut into the front of the stone.

At 18.9 inches tall with a 13.8-inch shade, Sillon holds its own on a sideboard, a desk or a large nightstand.
Materials & care
Beige travertine base with natural pitting, dark bronze metal shade and stem. The pores of the stone are left open, as they come.
Shade: dark bronze metal dome with a small finial.
Power: corded, plug-in. Meant for a fixed place in the room, near an outlet.
Dust the stone with a soft, dry brush or cloth. Travertine is porous: wipe spills quickly and avoid acidic cleaners.

The travertine is pale, porous and warm. The shade is dark and smooth. The groove in the stone is the detail that joins them.
Look at it from an angle: the groove and the stem catch the light.

How much light does it give?
Very little, by design. The light falls under the shade and onto the travertine. Sillon is chosen for its presence and the mood it sets; add another light if you need to read.
Can it light a desk or a reading chair?
Not on its own. Bellerives lamps give ambient light: they set the mood of a room, not light a desk or a kitchen. Each lamp is photographed in a real room, and the light described on this page matches what you see.
How much is delivery, and how long does it take?
