A drop of burgundy lacquer.
The finish is deep and reflective. Even switched off, it catches the light of the room.
Set it among books, on a nightstand or on a shelf, wherever a small note of color is welcome.
On a burgundy lacquer nightstand.
One lacquered color, nothing else.
The form
A smooth, half-round dome on a plain cone that narrows toward the top.
The light
A small pool of warm light beneath the dome. An accent, not a reading light.
The finish
Deep burgundy, uniform and high-gloss, over a polymer composite body.
One warm color on a shelf.
A nightstand. A shelf of books. A bar cart. A desk that needs one warm color.

About Rubra.
How small is it, exactly?
8.3 inches tall and 5.9 inches wide. The photo on the walnut sideboard shows it to scale, next to full-size furniture.
How much light does it give?
Every Bellerives lamp gives ambient light. It sets the mood of a room; it is not meant to light a desk or a kitchen. Each photo shows the lamp in a real room, and the light is described here as it appears.
What does delivery cost, and how long does it take?
Standard delivery is free and takes 8–12 days; express delivery takes 6–10 days. Any other option, with its cost, is shown at checkout before you pay.
Stone, chosen piece by piece.
Bellerives is a French lighting house. We work with natural stone only: marble and travertine, chosen block by block for their veining, their color and their density. Each lamp is made in small numbers in the workshop of a French artisan, and made to last.
